Sixth Annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series

Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association recently announced its concert schedule for the sixth annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series.    

The schedule of events is as follows:

-Tues., Aug. 31, 2010: U.S. Navy Country Current at 6 p.m.
- Fri., Sept. 10, 2010: U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note at 6 p.m.

All concerts are free, open to the public, and will be held in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds.

HCC Alumni Association to host Caribbean cruise in Feb. 2011

 

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association is hosting a nine-night Caribbean cruise in Feb. 2011.

The Second Annual HCC Alumni and Friends Cruise will take place from Fri., Feb. 18 through Sun., Feb. 27, 2011. Port stops include St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Samana, Dominican Republic; and Labadee, Haiti. The cruise is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Rates start at $1459.75 and vary depending on occupancy type. Cruise fee includes accommodations for nine nights on the Royal Caribbean “Explorer of the Seas” cruise ship; all government taxes and fees; all meals and entertainment; and roundtrip transportation from HCC to the departure port.

Participants who book by Sept. 1 will receive a $50 per person discount. A portion of the cruise fee will benefit HCC student scholarships and the HCC Foundation.
