2025 Annual Fund Campaign
2025 Annual Fund Campaign
“Receiving my scholarship lifted the pressure off my family and inspired me to work harder than ever, even as I battled health issues. Thank you for helping me on my journey.” – Roshni Baig, HCC Foundation Scholarship Recipient
Hagerstown Community College is where journeys begin, continue, and transform. Whether you are an alum building on your own educational path, a local business investing in the future workforce, or a community partner who believes in opportunity, you play a vital role in supporting the journeys of HCC students.
Your gift to HCC Foundation scholarships helps students take the next step forward. Scholarship support not only removes financial barriers, it empowers students to focus on their goals, discover their purpose, and complete their educational journey.
And the impact lasts far beyond graduation. For every $1 spent on education at HCC, students can expect $2.90 in higher future earnings, a nearly 3 to 1 return on investment.
The HCC Foundation has over 300 endowed scholarships with diverse criteria, currently serving nearly 600 students throughout the region with over $800,000 in awards each year. Your gift towards scholarships during this year’s annual fund will help us support even more deserving students, as 70% of HCC students are eligible for financial assistance. HCC Foundation scholarships provide opportunities for students to pursue their dream of higher education and lead fulfilling lives through meaningful employment as contributing members of our community.
Make your tax-deductible donation by December 31, 2025 to impact students as soon as the Fall 2026 semester.

“HCC’s motto is Stay Close, Go Far — and it’s such a fitting description of what we provide our students. Each educational journey is unique: for some, it leads to an advanced degree; for others, a fulfilling career or a role as a community leader. HCC is like a vibrant airport with many gates, each opening to new opportunities and destinations. The best part is that because of generous donors, those gates are never closed. By joining the President’s Circle, you help ensure that every student has the ticket they need to go far. With your support, the sky is truly the limit.” – Becky McDermott, HCC Foundation Vice President
