All new credit students, including incoming transfer students will need to meet with a Student Support Advisor to register for their first semester of classes. Early College Access students, which includes those who are taking college classes on HCC’s campus or online will also need to meet with a Student Support Advisor to register for their classes.
Student Support Advisors help new, current and returning students:
- Review academic requirements, degree plans, and select classes
- Help students choose a major or career path
- Change majors
- Transfer to a four-year college

- Navigate challenges, both academic and non-academic
Students who are undecided or need assistance selecting a major are encouraged to complete a career assessment. Traitify or Focus2 Career links answers on the assessment to a certificate or degree program at Hagerstown Community College.
Registration for Non-Credit Classes
Registration for non-credit classes is done through Instant Enrollment. You do not need to register for an account to search for classes, but you will need an account before adding classes to your cart.
