BEFORE SUBMITTING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPLICATION FOR A HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAM, YOU MUST SUBMIT AN ADMISSION APPLICATION.
This application, all transcripts, and any applicable test scores must be received by the March 1 deadline to be eligible for the program. A minimum of 17 credits must be completed or in progress at the time of the application to be eligible for admission. The courses include ENG 101, BIO 116 (or BIO 103 must be completed and BIO 104 can be in progress), CHM 101, MAT 109 (or an approved General Education Math course), and PSY 101. Recommended courses completed prior to application are SPD 108, a 3-credit Arts and Humanities course from approved General Education course list, and BIO 205. Additional information can be accessed at the Advising office or in the HCC Catalog. Each student must submit an HCC Dental Hygiene Observation Form documenting 8 hours of observations. Observations older than 3 years will not be accepted. Program acceptance or denial letters will be mailed in mid-to-late May.
