HCC offers specialized courses in animal care and veterinary office career training. Veterinary office career courses prepare students to work as a front desk assistant in a veterinary office, a veterinary assistant, or a dog trainer, as
well as for a career in an animal rescue shelter. Courses are also provided for the licensed veterinary technicians that need continuing education in order to maintain their license.

Includes courses to prepare students to work as a front office assistant in a veterinary office, veterinary assistant, dog training, and also careers in animal rescue shelters.
- Animal and Pet Care
Courses are designed to help the pet owner better understand their pet's needs such as pet nutrition and CPR, pet first aid, and pet massage.
