Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship
HCC is a participant in the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) training grant which provides limited scholarships for approved Continuing Education (CE) career pathway programs. Programs consist of a series of courses that must be completed to receive the certificate or certification related to the sequence. All MHEC approved programs are related to an employable skillset.
Apprenticeship Innovation Fund
Funded through the Maryland DLLR, this grant supports a pre-apprenticeship program, which will serve to introduce individuals into the construction and building industry. The program will also prepare individuals for Registered Apprenticeship with any trade association that uses the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum.
EARN Transportation and Logistics Pathways Grant

EARN Green Solar Installation Training and Evaluation Grant
Green SITE is funded through the Maryland DLLR and provides scholarships for primarily incumbent workers in the electrical, solar, or inspection fields who need additional training for solar installation and solar system inspections. Beyond Food Stamps, Paths to Employment
