Multicompetency courses for health professionals may be taken through the Center for Continuing Education for CE credits or as part of a credit program.

When a course is taken for non-credit, no final exam is given. The course cannot be changed to credit at a later date. If a course is taken for credit, no continuing education certificate is given.

Contact Hours for Nurses
Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Requirements to receive ANCC contact hours include full course attendance and submission of the course evaluation.

Continuing Education Credits for Social Workers, Psychologists, Therapists, Counselors, and Radiographers
Hagerstown Community College is an authorized sponsor for Category Continuing Education Credits for Social Workers, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Psychologists, and Category A and B CEUs for Counselors and Therapists. Submission for ASRT Category A Continuing Education (CE).
