Nursing and Allied Health

Register now for: The Nurse Refresher course, a three-step process designed for the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the reinstatement of an inactive Maryland license. Step 1 of the Nurse Refresher course consists of 80 hours of theory; Step 2 is 8 hours of hand-on skills training, and Step 3 is 60 hours of clinical experience. Starts September 8th.

HCC offers educational programs for allied and mental health and medical professionals. Programs assist healthcare professionals in maintaining their certifications in various areas of specialty by providing CEUs, as well as providing continuous BLS classes for healthcare providers. In addition, HCC's Continuing Education and Business Services Division is a member of the Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training, which is an accredited provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
