  • HCC donates masks and other medical supplies to county first responders

    HCC has donated medical masks and other supplies to Washington County first responders, in response to the growing demand for personal protective equipment needed during the current state of emergency due to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. More than 8,000 medical masks and 11,000 gloves, as well as gowns, shoe covers, wipes, a ventilator, and other items were donated.

  • Antietam Broadband Partners with HCC to Support Students

    Antietam Broadband announced today they are partnering with Hagerstown Community College (HCC) to assist eligible students, with access to high-speed internet through the company’s Edu-Net Program. The goal of this partnership is to ensure students can complete course work from home while HCC is operating remotely.

  • Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

    Hagerstown Community College is currently under full remote operations. Credit classes, and final exams, will be held remotely through the end of the semester. Employees are working remotely until further notice.

  • HCC to extend spring break another week

    Officials at Hagerstown Community College continue to monitor the ever-evolving situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19). HCC will extend spring break for STUDENTS ONLY for the week of March 16 to 20. No academic instruction will occur during that time. This includes credit and non-credit offerings. 

  • HCC and PIA sign agreement to benefit students

    Officials at Hagerstown Community College and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a pathway for PIA graduates to earn a degree at HCC. Students who complete a program of study through PIA and have received the corresponding industry-recognized technical license or certification may be awarded up to 18 credits at HCC, to be granted toward the associate of applied science degree in technical studies. 

  • HCC accepting applications for diesel tech program

    Applications are now being accepted for the next Diesel Technician Program at Hagerstown Community College. The 200-hour program will begin on May 12 and will run through the summer, with evening and weekend classes. 

  • HCC announces seminars for annual Flower & Garden Show

    The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will hold its 26th Annual Flower and Garden Show on Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the ARCC. More than 150 vendors will take part in the show, named as one of the area’s premier events. Show participants include experts in nurseries, lawn and garden equipment, pottery and statuary, landscaping, tree services, stone products, spas, outdoor furniture, flowers, wild bird products, and natural gourmet gifts from the garden.

  • HCC to host Leadercast Live 2020

    Hagerstown Community College will host a one-day leadership event, entitled “Leadercast Live 2020,” on Thursday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Kepler Theater on HCC’s main campus. The event is broadcast live, annually from Atlanta, to hundreds of host sites around the world. Global experts present on one stage to share knowledge and insights from their leadership journeys. Take advantage of early bird ticket pricing now through Tuesday, March 31.

  • Summer 2020 Tuition Payment Deadline

    For those who have already registered for Summer 2020 classes at HCC, tuition payment is due by April 16. Students must settle their respective accounts by using financial aid, paying their balance in full, or setting up a payment plan. For more information, contact the Finance Office at 240-500-2220.
