  • HCC’s pharmacy tech program receives continued accreditation

    The Pharmacy Technician Program at Hagerstown Community College has received continued accreditation from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). This accreditation indicates that HCC’s program has been reviewed and meets the rigorous standards defined by the ASHP.

  • Jahrling joins HCC dance department

    The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College recently announced that dancer Bria Jahrling has joined HCC’s dance department as an adjunct faculty member.

  • Online programs at HCC

    Hagerstown Community College offers online and hybrid courses for students with busy schedules. HCC currently offers more than 50 classes online in a variety of different subjects and new classes are being added each semester. There are 14 degrees and certificate programs that are offered 100 percent online.

  • Fall classes start August 24

    Fall classes at Hagerstown Community College will start on Monday, August 24. To register for classes visit WebAdvisor. If you are a first-time HCC student, you can apply for admission online.

  • HCC to host first annual Cornhole Tournament Sept. 12

    Hagerstown Community College’s Foundation will hold its first annual Hawk Athletic Booster Club Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, September 12, at 12:30 p.m., in the Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC) on HCC’s campus.

    As part of the third annual Mid-Atlantic Fiction Writers Institute (MAFWI), the Hub City Teen Writers Institute gave teen writers the opportunity to take part in a writing contest. MAFWI is proud to announce the winners of the 2015 Hub City Teen Writers Fiction Contest.

  • HCC to host Mid-Atlantic Fiction Writers Institute

    Hagerstown Community College will host the Mid-Atlantic Fiction Writers Institute (MAFWI), August 7 to 9. This is the third year for the event, formerly called the Nora Roberts Writing Institute, and it will feature New York Times and international bestselling author Tess Gerritsen as the keynote speaker.

  • U.S. Navy Sea Chanters to perform August 8 at HCC

    The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Saturday, August 8, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
