  • Police Academy now accepting applications

     Applications are now being accepted for the next class of the Hagerstown Community College Police Academy. This class starts July 3, 2017 and runs through December 15. The application deadline is May 15, 2017. 

  • HCC to hold spring open house on March 25

    Hagerstown Community College will hold an open house for prospective students on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in HCC’s Student Center. The event is free and open to the public. 

  • HCC to offer Spanish driver education classes

    Hagerstown Community College will offer Educación Vial, driver education classes in Spanish, from February 28 to March 30, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

  • HCC Middle College to hold info sessions

    Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesdays, March 1, March 22, April 5, and April 19, at 4 p.m., in the Learning Resource Center, room 254. 

  • HCC’s College for Kids to offer tech classes for middle school girls

    The College for Kids program at Hagerstown Community College will offer a special group of technology classes this summer, targeting middle school girls entering grades six to eight. Through funding from JLG Industries, Inc., and a grant from the National Science Foundation, these classes are offered for the reduced cost of $8 each.

  • Gymkana Troupe to perform at HCC on March 3

    Hagerstown Community College will host the University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe on Friday, March 3, beginning at 7 p.m., in the college’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC). Well known for its high energy performances, Gymkana Troupe performs both men’s and women’s gymnastic apparatus routines, as well as novelty circus acts that incorporate the use of chairs, ladders, and trampolines. 

  • HCC’s College for Kids celebrates 30 years

    The College for Kids program at Hagerstown Community College will celebrate its 30th anniversary this summer. The series of week-long courses covers a variety of subjects for students in elementary grades through high school. The program has been extended to seven weeks this year, starting June 19 and running through August 11.

  • Staff Spring Break 2018 - HCC Closed

    HCC will be closed for staff spring break on March 9, 2018. No classes will be held and all administrative offices will be closed.

  • Business Club Meeting

    HCC's Business Club will meet in the Student Center, room 141. The topic will be "Annual Visit to the Technical Innovation Center." The presenters will be a panel of the current TIC tenants facilitated by Janice Riley, Manager of the TIC at HCC.

  • Business Club Trip to Annapolis

    HCC's Business Club will hold its annual trip to Annapolis on Friday, April 13, with meetings scheduled with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce; Leadership Maryland; and Senator Edward Riley, Vice-Chair, Finance Committee of Maryland State Government. The trip will also include a walking tour of Annapolis and a possible meeting with Governor Larry Hogan.
