    (February 25, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for graduating high school seniors on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 6:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus.

  • Financial Aid to communicate using student email addresses

    (February 24, 2014) - For the upcoming academic year, the Financial Aid Office will only send emailed correspondences to student email addresses. No personal email addresses will be used. If you apply for Financial Aid by completing a 2014-2015 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), be sure to check your student email address for important information, including:

  • Technical Innovation Center to host business startup meetings

    (February 20, 2014) - A facilitated discussion, entitled “Overcoming Barriers to Business Entry and Sustainability,” will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Technical Innovation Center (TIC) at Hagerstown Community College.
                   

  • Variety Show Auditions - March 5

    (Release: February 19, 2014) - Auditions for the upcoming Robinwood Players' Variety Show will be held on Wed., March 5, 2014, at 5 p.m., in the Kepler Theater.

    All current students are welcome to audition. Auditions can include singing, dancing, or other performance-based talents. Auditions must be completed in five minutes or less. There is no fee to sign up.

  • Faculty Art Show - Feb. 28-March 25

    A special art show featuring work by faculty members at Hagerstown Community College will be on display from February 28 through March 25, 2014, at the Washington County Arts Council, located at 34 South Potomac Street in Hagerstown.

  • Flower & Garden Show - March 15-16

    The HCC Alumni Association will hold its 20th Annual Flower & Garden Show on Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the ARCC.

  • FAFSA Frenzy event held at Valley Mall

    The Annual FAFSA Frenzy event will be held on Sat., Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sun., Feb. 9, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. This event is free and is open to the public.

  • College for Kids Open House - Feb. 22

    The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will host a College for Kids open house on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

  • Deadline to purchase cap and gown

    Students who have applied for 2014 spring graduation (for associate degrees and certificates over 30 credits) should have received an email regarding their graduation eligibility status.  Students who are planning on attending the May 17, 2014, graduation ceremony should order their caps and gowns online at www.balfourmd.com.

  • "Prepare for the Fair" Workshop

    A special "Prepare for the Job Fair" workshop will be held on Thursday, April 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Student Center conference room. Students will learn how to make a great impression with employers when visiting the Mega Job Fair on April 4.

  • Teen Idol 2014

    Several HCC students will be competing in Teen Idol 2014, a singing competition sponsored by the Washington County Free Library, Maryland Theatre and After Five Productions. This event  fosters a deep appreciation for musical talent in our area and promotes teen programs at the library. It is a great honor to be selected and the winner will receive a $1,000 prize.
