HCC NOW Social Media Influencer Program
The Public Relations and Marketing Office at Hagerstown Community College is looking for students to share their experience and spread the word about all that HCC has to offer.
Students will be selected each semester and will receive a $500 stipend (per semester), if they meet established goals for producing content to be shared on HCC’s official social media platforms, as well as their personal social media platforms. HCC retains the right to terminate the Contractor Agreement at any time, for any reason.
HCC NOW Social Media Influencer Program Requirements:
- Good academic and financial standing at the College.
- Active presence on social media and comfortable using Instagram Reels and/or TikTok.
- Agree to attend at least four campus events each semester to capture content for social media.
- Work with the PRM staff to participate in creation of four HCC Instagram Reels and/or TikTok videos each semester. And, agree to share each one on personal social media accounts.
- Agree to share a minimum of 10 additional HCC social media posts to personal social media accounts each semester.
- Agree to keep non-college content on personal social media suitable as a representative of the college.
- Must follow @hagerstowncc on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and actively engage with posts (like, comment, and share).
- Students will be required to submit a W-9 and complete an HCC Independent Contractor Agreement.
