HCC hosts Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week

Hagerstown Community College invites the community to participate in its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week, January 19 to 22, honoring Dr. King and the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement. All on-campus events are free and open to the public.

The week’s signature community event, the Annual Community Peace Walk, will take place on Thursday, January 22, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Beginning in the HCC Student Center, the event will feature a brief opening ceremony followed by a reflective walk through campus, with stops highlighting Dr. King’s vision of peace, justice, and… Read more
