  • HCC’s College for Kids Summer Program

    Hagerstown Community College will begin another summer of College for Kids programming on June 20. The week-long courses cover a variety of exciting subjects for students in elementary through high school. Classes start June 20 and continue through the week of August 1. 

  • Portraiture class to be offered this fall

    Hagerstown Community College will offer a portraiture class on Thursday afternoons, from 1 to 4:35 p.m., beginning September 1, in the Kepler Center. The fall portraiture class is a three-credit, upper-level class for students with basic drawing skills who wish to broaden their ability to create strong visual images. 

  • HCC to offer accelerated hybrid paramedic program this fall

    Hagerstown Community College is offering an accelerated hybrid paramedic certification program this fall. The program will allow students to earn a certificate in Paramedic Emergency Services in just 12 months. Classes begin on August 30 and are held on Tuesdays from 3 to 9:30 p.m., in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus. 

  • Pinning ceremony honors HCC health sciences graduates

    The 2016 graduates of the health sciences division at Hagerstown Community College were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 14. Dental assisting, dental hygiene, medical assisting, paramedic, pharmacy technician, and radiography were among the program areas included in this year’s ceremony. 

  • HCC Dance Company accepting new members for fall 2016

    The HCC Dance Company is looking for new members for the fall 2016 semester. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 7 p.m., in the HCC dance studio in the Kepler Visual and Performing Arts center. The Dance Company at HCC is comprised of intermediate to advanced dancers with previous dance experience.

  • HCC to offer free information sessions for rad tech students

    (May 20, 2016) – Two free information sessions will be provided at Hagerstown Community College for prospective students interested in the Radiography Program. A representative from the Radiography Program will offer information about the program and a member of Academic Advising will discuss the admissions requirements and application process.

  • HCC announces spring 2016 dean’s list

    HCC recently announced its dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

    Memorial Day observed. HCC closed. No classes will be held and all administrative offices are closed.

  • HCC Dance Company Auditions

    The HCC Dance Company is looking for new members for the Fall 2016 season. Auditions will be held May 31 at 7 p.m. in the HCC dance studio in the Kepler Visual and Performing Arts center.

  • Radiography Information Session

    Free information sessions for HCC's Radiography programs will be held in the Careers Program Building, Room 160.     Family Movie Night, featuring Disney’s “Zootopia,” will be held Friday, June 10, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 11, at 2 p.m. in the Student Center Main Dining Area. Admission is free and open to the public. Concessions will be sold by Robinwood Players Theater Club. Be sure to dress up as or bring your favorite stuffed zoo animal!
