HCC students to perform “Urinetown” musical

Hagerstown Community College students will perform the musical “Urinetown,” as their spring production. The show will be held at 7 p.m. on April 24 and 25, and 2 p.m. on April 26, in HCC’s Kepler Theater.

“Urinetown” follows the story of a city with a terrible water shortage caused by a twenty-year drought that has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs.
