  • Distracted Driver Simulator on Campus - Sept. 11

    On Thursday, Sept. 11, an "Arrive Alive" Distracted Driving Simulator will be on campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Student Center. Any HCC student is welcome to try the simulator, which is intended to show how quickly texting and driving can cause traffic accidents.

  • LSC Writing Workshops - Sept. 16-19

    HCC's Learning Support Center will offer a series of writing workshops on how to properly cite sources in research papers. Workshops will be held from Sept. 16 through Sept. 19 and are open to all currently enrolled credit students.

  • Book Buyback - Extended through Sept. 10

    The textbook buyback has been extended an extra day. Students will also have the opportunity to sell back their books on Wednesday, September 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the HCC Campus Store.

  • HCC Middle College info session to be held Sept. 10

    (Release: September 3, 2014) – A program information session for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesday, September 10, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the STEM Building, room 308.
                    

  • STEMM Middle College Information Sessions

    Program information session for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College for high school students will be held on Sept. 10, Oct. 15, Nov. 12, and Dec. 17.

  • HCC student wins Kline scholarship

    Hagerstown Community College student Meghan Berry, of Hagerstown, recently won the Helen and Gene Kline Scholarship for the fall 2014 semester.

  • Auditions for "A Chorus Line"

    Auditions for HCC's production of "A Chorus Line" will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m., in the Kepler Center. Call backs will be held the same day. Interested students should prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song and a 60-second contemporary monologue.  Students should come prepared to learn a short dance combination.

  • Kris Kringle Craft Show

    The Annual Kris Kringle Craft Show will be held on Nov. 22-23, 2014, in the ARCC. Show times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, contact Linda Williams at 301-582-1233.
