HCC raises $13,505 to benefit United Way of Washington County
(Hagerstown, Md.)— During the months of October and November, faculty, staff, and students from Hagerstown Community College raised $13,505 during a fundraising campaign to benefit the United Way of Washington County. These funds are used to support collaborative programs that improve education, health, and financial stability in Washington County, as well as provide basic needs to members of the community.
“I am humbled to be part of such a giving campus community,” said HCC campaign representative Megan Curry. “Each year, our staff, faculty, and students step up to give to our local United Way. The United Way funds so many worthwhile local initiatives, and we are honored to support their fight to improve lives here in Washington County.”
