Registration now open for HCC’s College for Kids summer program

Hagerstown Community College will begin another summer of College for Kids programming on June 13. Registration is now open for week-long camps that cover a variety of exciting subjects for students in elementary grades through high school.

More than 70 camps will be offered this summer, including 19 new options. Camps are led by qualified instructors in small class settings with an emphasis on hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Campers can explore subjects such as culinary arts, graphic design, SAT prep, crafting, engineering, digital art, music theatre, photography, and many others.

Camps start June 13 and continue through the week of August 5, with a break the week of July 5. Campers meet Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Individual camp costs vary according to section and materials needed, and an early bird discount is available through
March 31.

Thanks to the generosity of JLG, Inc., AHEC West’s ECHO, and the Alice Virginia and David W. Fletcher Foundation, a limited number of scholarships are available for various camps. To apply for a camp scholarship, visit www.hagerstowncc.edu/campscholarships

The camp schedule is available online at www.hagerstowncc.edu/kids. For more information, email cfk@hagrstowncc.edu, or to register, call 240-500-2236.
