The food service department consists of the Valley Eatery, Hilltop Grill and Food for Thought catering service. All food service locations are open to all students, faculty, staff and the general public. The manager’s office is located in the Career Programs Building, room 205. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.
Parents and students can purchase "Grub Bucks" through the Campus Store, located in the Student Center, or through the Finance Office, located in the Administration and Student Affairs (ASA) Building. Grub Bucks are money vouchers that can be used instead of cash at the Valley Eatery or the Hilltop Grill.
Special: Pay $50 for $55 worth of Grub Bucks!
Gift Certificates can be purchased at the Valley Eatery in increments of $5.00, $10.00 or $20.00 amounts, which may be used at the Valley Eatery and Hilltop Grill locations only. For advance notification please e-mail Sandra Harrison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gift certificates can be used until the entire gift amount is used or by expiration date indicated on certificate. If certificate is lost or stolen it is not the responsibility of HCC Food Service Department or its staff.
Snack vending machines on campus are overseen by the Food Service Department. Vending machines are conveniently located in all buildings except the Administration and Student Affairs Building (ASA) and the Student Center. If you encounter problems with a machine, please notify Food Service staff in the Hilltop Grill located in the Student Center or the Valley Eatery in the Careers Programs Building.
All Pepsi and Coke machines are stocked by the vendor, but managed by the HCC Campus Store. Please notify the Campus Store located in the Student Center should you encounter any issues with these machines.
The Courtside Café is located in the ARCC lobby and is run by The Al Sheaffer ARCC Volunteer Corps. All proceeds earned from the Courtside Café concession stand operation benefit scholarships for student-athletes. It also assists with other College projects, as needed. Courtside Café offers sandwiches and light fare items and is only open for athletic events. For donations and/or if anyone is interested in volunteering with the ARCC volunteers and/or Courtside Café, please contact the Athletic Department at 240-500-2289.
