Why Use HCC Student Email?
To minimize the chance of viruses, all students are expected to regularly check and respond to email communication from instructors and staff using their college-issued student email address. Emails that are not read regularly may go into your spam folder. Student email is accessible on your smart phone.
Files and email messages created or stored on equipment or media owned by Hagerstown Community College are the property of the College. Users are cautioned that files or email messages stored on College equipment are not private. The College may monitor, audit, and review files, directories, and communications to maintain system integrity and to ensure that equipment and systems are used in accordance with College policies and applicable federal and state laws.
NOTE: Firefox is the preferred browser for use with HCC email.
USERNAME: You must use your whole email address as your username in the format of firstname.lastname@example.org. Your username can be found on your acceptance letter.
PASSWORD: You cannot log in using your temporary activation password, which is the password that starts with a $. If you currently have a temporary activation password, you must activate your account and change your password here. If this is your first login, you will be prompted to set your time zone (Eastern Standard). If this is not your first login, you will be taken to your inbox.
