Nursing Division

Employment Opportunity for Nursing Students

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, officials in the state of Maryland are reaching out to current nursing students across the state to request help in expanding the capacities to care for the ill. A credentialing process has been developed to help identify qualified and interested nursing students, which will be recognizable to potential employers and others in the health care system. Your profile information will be made available to a statewide agency coordinating clinical staffing resources and to hospitals seeking to hire nursing students during this pandemic. Information is available at www.MIEMSS.org.

A letter from MIEMSS

HCC's Nursing Division prepares students to meet the needs of an increasingly globalized and diverse world in healthcare. Programs in this division integrate scientific knowledge with the fine art of caring and teach students high-level technical skills and critical thinking in order to allow them to skillfully administer the best possible nursing care to their patients upon program completion. The RN and LPN programs at HCC are fully accredited by the Maryland Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).*
