Hagerstown Community College’s Division of Nursing prepares students to meet the needs of an increasingly globalized and diverse world in healthcare. Programs in this division integrate scientific knowledge with the fine art of caring and teach students high-level technical skills and critical thinking in order to allow them to skillfully administer the best possible nursing care to their patients upon program completion.
The RN and LPN programs at HCC are fully accredited by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The RN and LPN programs recently received candidacy status for accreditation by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The accreditation visit is scheduled to occur in October of 2012.
