New Drone Course: Introduction to Unmanned Systems (ELE - 130)

This course is an introduction to civilian unmanned systems. It includes an introduction to current applications, weather, control fundamentals and principals of flight, and the history of unmanned systems. This course also exposes students to the significant regulations affecting unmanned systems operations. Course fee required. Total of 45 hours of lecture.

The Technology and Computer Studies Division at HCC offers eight areas of study in fields such as alternative energy, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, multimedia studies, and information systems technology, which prepare students to achieve technological success in a professional setting. Many of the programs are geared towards short-term career training or university transfer and students benefit from hands-on training in state-of-the-art labs and classrooms outfitted with advanced simulation equipment for a variety of programs.
