History

The History Program provides students with a deeper understanding of historical themes and issues as well as the fundamental analysis and research skills that are necessary for success in upper level courses after transfer. The core courses cover both global and national history and provide students with a full range of topics to explore, from the ancient world to modern times. As a result of participating in a variety of interesting projects, listening to thought-provoking presentations, and contributing to lively discussions, students who major in these programs will find that they are well prepared for transfer to any four-year college or university.
