  • U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note to perform May 31 at HCC

    The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Sunday, May 31, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

  • Linked Ventures receives second place in business plan competition

    Richard Emeni, CEO of Linked Ventures, a client in the Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College, recently won second place in the Business Plan Competition at the Power of Possibilities Summit at the Garrett College Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in McHenry, Maryland.

  • HCC Announces Spring 2015 Dean's List

    Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

  • HCC awards 720 degrees and certificates in largest graduation ceremony

    Hagerstown Community College held its 68th annual commencement on Saturday, May 16, at 9:30 a.m., in the Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center at HCC. HCC President Guy Altieri and members of the board of trustees awarded 720 degrees and certificates to HCC’s largest graduating class ever, before a crowd of more than 2,000 people.

  • HCC Honors Students at 13th Annual Honors Convocation

    Hagerstown Community College recently held its 13th annual Honors Convocation. The event recognized special awards, graduation honors, dean’s list honors, Phi Theta Kappa membership, Future Educators Honor Association membership, and TRiO Support Services awards.

  • HCC Holds Health Sciences Pinning Ceremony

    The 2015 graduates of the health sciences division at Hagerstown Community College were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 13. Dental assisting, medical assisting, paramedic, and radiography were among the program areas included in this year’s ceremony.
