The Annual Foam Dance Party will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, from 9 p.m. to midnight, in the Student Center. This event is free and is open to all HCC students with a current student I.D.
The Student Activities Office is holding a Welcome Back Fun Day on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Student Center. The event will feature a photo booth, dunk tank, snow cones, prizes, and more.
Special Saturday hours will be held on August 23, 2014, prior to the start of fall 2014 classes. Fall classes start Tuesday, August 26.
HCC's Children's Learning Center still has openings for pre-kindergarten children for fall 2014. To participate in the class, children must have turned four years old prior to September 2014.

(Release: August 1, 2014) – The National Science Foundation has awarded a $713,996 grant to Hagerstown Community College to support a partnership with the Johns Hopkins University to offer research opportunities and hands-on training to students studying cybersecurity at HCC.

The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College recently announced that artist Erica Kempler has joined HCC’s art department as an adjunct faculty member.
Hagerstown Community College will offer a pharmacy certification exam review course on Sundays from 4 to 7 p.m., from Oct. 5 through Nov. 2, 2014.
