  • HCC Honors Students at 13th Annual Honors Convocation

    Hagerstown Community College recently held its 13th annual Honors Convocation. The event recognized special awards, graduation honors, dean’s list honors, Phi Theta Kappa membership, Future Educators Honor Association membership, and TRiO Support Services awards.

  • HCC Holds Health Sciences Pinning Ceremony

    The 2015 graduates of the health sciences division at Hagerstown Community College were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 13. Dental assisting, medical assisting, paramedic, and radiography were among the program areas included in this year’s ceremony.

  • HCC Foundation Announces Tribute Proceeds

    The net proceeds from the Hagerstown Community College Foundation’s 16th Annual Tribute, held in March, total $212,721, to benefit HCC student scholarships. The event, which had 450 attendees, honored HCC students and was hosted by Jim and Georgia Pierné.

  • First HCC Middle College Students Graduate

    The first class of students in the STEMM Technical Middle College (STMC) will graduate from HCC on Saturday. Nine students were recognized at a special ceremony on Tuesday for their significant accomplishments in earning associate degrees from HCC at the same time they are each completing high school.

  • Washington County Celebrates National Week of the Young Child

    On Monday, April 13, local political leaders were joined by representatives from Washington County Public Schools, Head Start, business and community groups and child care providers at HCC to focus on the need for quality early learning opportunities for young children in our area.

  • 2015 Commencement Ceremony - May 16

    The annual commencement ceremony will be held May 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC). Graduates should arrive by 8:45 a.m. in cap and gown.


  • Game Development Club Meeting

    Tuesday meetings are mainly for officers, and Wednesdays and Thursdays are workshop days for working on games. All meetings are held in ATC-116.

  • Spectrum Club Meeting

    HCC’s Spectrum Club (LGBT Support) will meet every Thursday from 4 - 5 p.m. in the Student Center Conference Room.

    The Spectrum Club consists of students who are open to and accepting of all identities. The primary goal is to create a safe environment for students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, questioning, and straight allies.
