The Health, Physical Education, and Leisure Studies Program is designed to provide students with the appropriate courses needed to continue their studies at a four-year college or university to major in exercise science, sports management, sports facilities management, sport coaching, or teaching in a K-12 setting. Course offerings are varied to provide students with a wide range of experiences. Students work closely with their faculty mentors and advising staff to prepare for university transfer.
To further ease the way for transfer students, HCC also has an articulation agreement with the United States Sports Academy that allows graduates of HCC’s program to transfer into any of the Academy’s multiple sports-related programs as a junior instead of a freshman.
