  • HCC announces seminars for annual Flower & Garden Show

    The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will hold its 22nd Annual Flower & Garden Show on Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the ARCC. A variety of vendors will take part in the show, named as one of the area’s premier events. 

  • HCC to offer Bill of Rights course

    The Continuing Education and Business Services Division of Hagerstown Community College will offer a non-credit class on the Bill of Rights, on Mondays, January 25 to February 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at HCC’s Valley Mall Center. 

  • HCC now offers Spanish driver education classes

    Hagerstown Community College is now offering driver education classes in Spanish, for Maryland residents. The class is taught by HCC’s driver education instructor Juan Lemus who recently was licensed by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to teach the Spanish language class.

  • HCC accepts 61 new members into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

    Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the national honor society at Hagerstown Community College, recently accepted 61 new members. To be eligible for PTK, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and must have completed 12 credit hours of college-level work at HCC. 

  • HCC announces fall 2015 dean’s list

    Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

  • HCC’s Dental Education Clinic accepting patients

    The Dental Education Clinic at Hagerstown Community College is now accepting volunteer patients. Services are provided by HCC dental hygiene students, under the supervision of registered dental hygienists and a supervising dentist. 

  • HCC Middle College accepting applications for fall

    The STEMM Technical Middle College (STMC) at Hagerstown Community College is now accepting applications for the fall 2016 class, with a priority deadline of March 1. HCC, working in partnership with Washington County Public Schools, developed the middle college to allow college-ready high school students the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credits, while completing their high school diplomas.

  • Robinwood Players Theater Club Meeting

  • Family Book Club

    HCC students, staff, and faculty are invited to spend time with their preschool/early elementary age child(ren) during HCC’s new Family Book Club, which will meet the second Saturday of each month. Come listen to a story (preschool to early elementary focus), complete a craft activity and enjoy a snack.
