  • Spots available at Children's Learning Center

    HCC's Children's Learning Center still has openings for pre-kindergarten children for fall 2014. To participate in the class, children must have turned four years old prior to September 2014.

  • Fall Classes - Now in Session

    Fall classes began Aug. 26, 2014. A full list of registration dates and deadlines can be viewed online. Last day to add a class for the full 15-week fall session is Wednesday, Sept. 3.

  • HCC receives grant from National Science Foundation to partner with JHU

    (Release: August 1, 2014) – The National Science Foundation has awarded a $713,996 grant to Hagerstown Community College to support a partnership with the Johns Hopkins University to offer research opportunities and hands-on training to students studying cybersecurity at HCC.
     

  • Kempler joins HCC art department

    The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College recently announced that artist Erica Kempler has joined HCC’s art department as an adjunct faculty member.

  • HCC offers pharmacy technician program

    Hagerstown Community College offers a pharmacy technician program which prepares students to work as pharmacy technicians in retail and institutional health care settings.

  • Truck Driver Open House - Aug. 2

    HCC will host an open house for its truck driver training program on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center. This event is free and open to the public.

  • How to Pitch Your Business Workshop - Aug. 5

    HCC’s Technical Innovation Center is partnering with TEDCO to offer “The Perfect Pitch: How to Pitch Your Business Workshop” on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Advance registration required.

    A transfer advisor from Mount Saint Mary's University - Adult Education Campus will be on campus to meet with interested students from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Student Center. No appointment necessary.

  • The Fault in Our Stars - Book Discussion Group

    A book discussion group will meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to discuss John Green's acclaimed novel, "The Fault in Our Stars." This group is open to all HCC students. Students can enter to win a book raffle. For more information, contact Heather Barnhart at hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.
