  • R. Benjamin Jones Grand Finale Art Show at HCC

    A Grand Finale reception, showing, and sale of paintings by R. Benjamin Jones will be held on Friday, November 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kepler Center. Admission is free. No tickets are required to attend. 

  • HCC to host Kris Kringle Holiday Craft Show

    Hagerstown Community College will host the 32nd annual Kris Kringle Holiday Craft Show on Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC) on campus. 

  • HCC offers pharmacy technician program

    Hagerstown Community College offers an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program which prepares students to work as pharmacy technicians in retail and institutional health care settings. Classes begin January 11.   • 5K “Turkey Trot” to be held at HCC

    Hagerstown Community College’s athletic teams will host the 15th annual “Turkey Trot” 5K run/walk/kids races and food/toy drive on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, on the HCC campus. Proceeds from the race will benefit student athlete scholarships at HCC. 

  • HCC to hold Paralegal Studies Seminar

    The Behavioral and Social Sciences/Business Division at Hagerstown Community College will hold a Paralegal Studies Seminar: “Boot Camp – Legal Reading, Writing and Analysis” on Thursday, November 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Behavioral Sciences and Humanities Building, room 104. 

  • HCC Middle College to hold info sessions

    Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wed., Nov. 18, and Wed., Dec. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the STEM Building, room 409. 

  • HCC inducts 81 students into TRiO Program

    The TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) program at Hagerstown Community College recently recognized 81 students who were inducted into the program within the past year. 

  • HCC Children’s Learning Center celebrates fall

    The Children’s Learning Center at Hagerstown Community College recently held its annual Fall Fest. Each year, the teachers plan a variety of outdoor activities that include an obstacle course, crafts, bean bag toss, and other games. A “pumpkin patch” is created on the HCC campus, where each child can pick a special pumpkin to take home. 

  • HCC to host political forum

    The Office of Student Affairs and the Political Science Club at Hagerstown Community College will host a political forum entitled, “Civil Liberties, Citizen Freedoms, and National Security,” on Thursday, November 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the main dining hall of HCC’s Student Center. 

  • HCC to hold Veterans Day event

    The Hagerstown Community College Veterans Club and Student Government Association will hold a Veterans Day event on Wednesday, November 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Student Center. Professional singer and musician, Mark Rust, will perform "The Songs of the Soldier." HCC student veterans and active military will receive a free lunch.
