  • Washington County Gives - May 5

    On Tuesday, May 5, the HCC Foundation will be participating in Washington County Gives, a 24-hour online giving day. Funds received will be used to raise scholarship dollars for students and support campus beautification.

  • STEM Scholarship Applications Available

    Scholarships are available for STEM majors through the National Science Foundation for up to $5,000 for the 2015-2016 school year. Applications are due August 15 (June 15 early decision).

  • HCC Dance Company to Hold Auditions May 6

    The HCC Dance Company is looking for new members for the fall 2015 season. Auditions will be held Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m., in the HCC dance studio in the Kepler Center.

  • HCC Spring Fling Celebration - April 20 - 25

    The Student Activities office will host the annual end-of-semester Spring Fling celebration, which is a week of activities on campus from April 20 through 25. All events are free.

  • HCC Receives Positive Accreditation Report

    On Wednesday, the review team chair reported that HCC met all of the 14 standards of excellence identified by Middle States. Middle States accreditation designation allows HCC to receive federal program grants and financial aid for its students, and it enhances the transfer of college credits to other accredited institutions.

  • HCC to Hold Spring Student Art Exhibit

    Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual spring student art exhibit from Monday, April 27, through Tuesday, May 5, in the Kepler Center. The art exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • HCC Students to Raise Awareness of Child Abuse

    A group of students in the Human Services Program at Hagerstown Community College has organized a weeklong campaign to raise awareness about child abuse and prevention, beginning April 20.

    In observance of Independence Day, HCC is closed. No classes will be held and all buildings and facilities are closed.
