  • HCC Dental Education Clinic seeking volunteer patients

    Hagerstown Community College’s Dental Education Clinic is seeking volunteer patients. Now through December 9, 2015, dental hygiene students are providing the below services on Monday, 8 a.m. to noon, and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To make an appointment, call 240-500-2569. 

  • Servers down for network maintenance Oct. 31 - Nov. 1

    The HCC network servers will be down for maintenance from Saturday, October 31 at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday, November 1 at 6:00 a.m. During this time, the HCC website, the HCC Jobs site, staff Email, and WebAdvisor will NOT be available. There will also be no internet or network access on campus during the maintenance period.

  • HCC students to perform “Our Town”

    Students from Hagerstown Community College’s Introduction to the Theater course will perform Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town,” from Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 8, in the Kepler Center Blackbox Theater on HCC’s main campus.

  • HCC to update SAT score requirements for Math and English

    In accordance with the University System of Maryland and other Maryland Community Colleges, Hagerstown Community College will be updating its SAT score requirement for college-level Math and English (MAT-101 and ENG-101) from 550 to 500. This change will go into effect for the spring 2016 semester.

  • HCC launches 2015 edition of the Hedge Apple

    Hagerstown Community College will hold a launch party for the most recent publication of its literary arts magazine, the Hedge Apple, on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Kepler Center, Black Box Theater, on HCC’s main campus. 

  • October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

    During the month of October, HCC is hosting several cybersecurity-related events for students, including a field trip to the MSP Forensics Lab in Pikesville, MD, a Forensics Demo at the Washington County Public Library, and two showings of the film WarGames.

    Registration for Summer 2016 classes starts March 14, 2016. Register online via WebAdvisor beginning at 6 a.m. Summer classes start May 9, 2016. For more information, contact the Admissions, Records and Registration Office at admissions@hagerstowncc.edu.
