  • HCC's middle college wins state award

    (April 24, 2014) - The STEMM Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College recently received the 2014 Outstanding Career and Technology Education Program Postsecondary Award of Excellence from the Maryland State Department of Education.
                   

  • Frozen Sing-A-Long - May 3-4

    (April 28, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association will host a free showing and sing-a-long of Walt Disney’s animated hit, “Frozen,” on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, 2014, in the Behavioral Sciences and Humanities (BSH) Building auditorium on HCC’s main campus.

  • HCC student wins theater club scholarship

    (April 21, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College student Ashley Warfield, of Hagerstown, recently won the Robinwood Players Theater Club Scholarship for the spring 2014 semester.

  • Spring Fling - April 23-24

    (April 21, 2014) - Join HCC's Student Government Association (SGA) for the annual Spring Fling on April 23 and 24, 2014. This year's event will feature two fun days filled with activities. All events are free and will be held in or near the Student Center.

  • Student Art Show - April 28-May 6

    (April 17, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual spring student art exhibit from Monday, April 28, through Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in the Kepler Center.

    The spring student art exhibit will feature a variety of artwork including painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and photography.

  • Kreykenbohm Lecture - April 30

    (April 14, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College will present its annual Kreykenbohm lecture series on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, beginning at 7 p.m., in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

  • HCC honor society wins award at regional conference

    (April 10, 2014) - Hagerstown Community College’s Pi Theta chapter was recently recognized as a Gold Chapter at the 27th Annual Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Regional Convention in Galloway Township, N.J. The Gold Chapter distinction is earned through the completion of service learning projects intended to aid both the college community, as well as community members in the surrounding area.

  • Winter Break Begins - HCC closes at 12 noon

    Winter Break begins. HCC will close at 12 noon and will remain closed through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. No classes will be held during this time and all administrative offices will be closed. The college will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.

  • HCC reopens - Staff back on campus

    HCC will reopen from Winter Break on Jan. 5, 2015. Administrative offices will resume normal hours. Spring classes start Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.

  • MLK Day Observed - HCC Closed

    HCC will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Jan. 19, 2015. No classes will be held and all administrative offices will be closed.

  • 2015 Alumni & Friends Cruise

    Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association will host its annual Alumni & Friends Cruise in winter 2015. The 11-day, 10-night cruise will be held from January 26 through February 6, 2015, aboard Holland American Line’s “ms Noordam” cruise ship. Port stops include Saint Maarten; Saint Lucia; Barbados; Martinique; Antigua; Saint Thomas; and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas.

  • Spring 2015 Graduation Application Deadline

    Applications for spring 2015 graduation are due March 1, 2015. All students should complete an online “Application for Graduation” through WebAdvisor to receive a degree, certificate, or letter of recognition regardless of their participation in the graduation ceremony.
