Fall 2025 HCC New Student Orientation

HCC will host New Student Orientation on campus Friday, August 22. Session one will begin at 8 a.m. in the Kepler Theater and session two will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the Athletic, Recreation, & Community Center (ARCC). New students only need to attend one of the two sessions.

Orientation will cover general information about campus resources, services, policies, and classroom expectations. Students can go on a campus tour, meet faculty and other freshmen in their major, get a student ID card and parking permit, and ask questions.

The event will include a complimentary lunch and t-shirt. During lunch there will be a resource fair with representation from various departments and divisions on campus.

All new students must complete an on-campus, or online orientation before receiving a Student ID Card or parking permit. The program is designed to acquaint students with the college environment, resources, procedures, and policies.
