Welcome to the Technology and Computer Studies Division at Hagerstown Community College.

The central purpose of the HCC Technology and Computer Studies (TCS) division is to offer a diverse array of courses and programs designed to prepare learners for a technologically-oriented, information-based, global environment. TCS faculty and staff are committed to maintaining an awareness of current technological advances, and the best methods of ensuring that our students acquire the skills needed to successfully compete in the workforce, in their educational pursuits, and in their personal lives.

The TCS division offers career and transfer programs that are up-to-date, relevant, and appropriate for today’s work world. Industry based advisory committees allow us to meet bi-annually with local industry professionals to determine private and government technology initiatives. This partnership ensures currency in instructional methods and curricula as well as student opportunities for internship experiences.
