Aaron Samson
Starting in 2023 as the Esports Specialist at HCC, Aaron shaped the foundation of the college's Esports program, establishing an identity for the school in the collegiate scene, and forming three competitive teams for Overwatch, Rocket League, and Valorant. In the first year alone, HCC made several playoffs appearances in these titles in the National Esports Collegiate Conference, the league it currently competes in. Both the Valorant and Rocket League teams made it to the NECC Nationals, with the former also securing a Spring 2024 Playoffs title and trophy for HCC in the NECC's Navigators division.
Aaron also runs HCC's Esports Center, a place for casual gaming, competitive rosters to practice and hone their skills, and to foster community and a thriving Esports scene at HCC.
Aaron earned a BSBA from Drexel University in 2022, where he also worked as a League of Legends Game Lead from 2019 to 2021.
