Hagerstown Community College would like to recognize students from the 2021-2022 academic year who have earned competitive and special program awards.

Recipients of the Technology and Computer Studies Leadership and Services Awards were Daniel Z. Cook, of Hagerstown, for advanced manufacturing systems; and Matthew A. Rudy, of Hagerstown, for electrical engineering technology; Daniel R. Wishard, of Smithsburg, for graphic design technology.

Recipients of the Technology and Computer Science Professionalism Awards were Keith W. Seavolt, of Greencastle, Pa., for advanced manufacturing systems; Courtney L. Kolb, of Hagerstown, for cybersecurity; Matthew A. Rudy, of Hagerstown, for electrical engineering technology; Jean N. Banzhoff, of Hagerstown, for graphic design technology; Luke Hill, of Hagerstown, for interactive design and fame development; and Stacey L. Belella, of Fayetteville, Pa., for web and multimedia technology.

Recipients of the Career Programs Awards of Excellence were Miranda D. Smith, of Hancock, for accounting and business; Timothy J. Burdette, of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., for administration of justice; Sintia A. Lemos, of Hagerstown, for biotechnology; Michelle Trina A. Dellota, of Germantown, for dental hygiene; Gretchen A. Betz, of Hagerstown, for early childhood and primary grades education; Matthew A. Rudy, of Hagerstown, for electrical engineering technology; Taylor Yount, of Hagerstown, for graphic design technology; TaNeasha J. Harper, of Martinsburg, W.Va., for health information management; Madison D. Jenkins, of Greencastle, Pa., for human services technician; William E. Horst, of Greencastle Pa., for management; Nicole L. Hood, of Hagerstown, for marketing; Geoffrey S. Hurry, of Hagerstown, for nursing; Alana J. Burger, of Hagerstown, for radiography; Kathryn A. Recipients of the Commendation for Academic Excellence in Mathematics and Science were Dayton A. Pelton, of Warfordsburg, Pa., for biology; William D. Klein, of Hagerstown, for engineering; Addison L. Snyder, of Hagerstown, for environmental studies; Renzi Y. Kidanemariam, of Hagerstown, for mathematics; and Rachel H. Boschen, of Hagerstown, for physics.

Recipients of the TRiO: Student Support Services Awards of Excellence were Benjamin C. Davids, of Hagerstown, for academic achievement and aspiring scholar; and Toddie Stocks, of Hagerstown, for academic achievement; and Jennifer L. Kilgore, of Mercersburg, Pa., for perseverance.
