HCC seeks professional clothing donations for students
Hagerstown Community College’s Career Development Services office is conducting its annual clothing drive to collect clean, lightly worn, and ready-to-wear professional clothing and accessories. The donated items are made available, free of charge, to students who are preparing for internships and employment opportunities.
Since 2018, the Career Closet has served an average of 200 students annually. Students with the WCPS Marshall Street School Job Development Program assist in the coordination of this annual event.
The clothing drive will continue through March 31, 2026. Acceptable items include jackets, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, suits, shoes, ties, scarves, and jewelry/accessories. Donation collection boxes are located in Hagerstown at the following locations:
- HCC Main Campus (11400 Robinwood Drive – Administration & Student Affairs (ASA) Building, Career Programs Building (CPB), Kepler Education Center (KEP) and Student Center (STC)
- Meritus, Main Hospital Entrance (11116 Medical Campus Road)
