Annual Clothing Drive
HCC’s Career Development, Internship and Job Services Office conducts an annual clothing drive from mid-September to March 30th each year to collect clean, lightly worn, and ready-to-wear professional clothing and accessories. The donated items are made available, free of charge, to students who are preparing for internships and employment opportunities.
Thanks to many generous donations from the greater Hagerstown community, a Career Closet Pop-Up Shop is typically held in the Fall and in the Spring semesters. Since 2018, the Career Closet has served an average of 150 students annually. Students with the WCPS Marshall Street School Job Development Program assist in the coordination of this annual event.
