Help by Donating

HCC’s Career Development, Internship and Job Services Office conducts an annual clothing drive from mid-September to March 30th each. The donated items are made available, free of charge, to students who are preparing for internships and employment opportunities. Thanks to many generous donations from the greater Hagerstown community, a Career Closet Pop-Up Shop is typically held in the Fall and Spring semesters.

The HCC Career Closet accepts donations of clean, gently used professional clothing and accessories for either a job interview, networking event, or starting a new career. Acceptable items include jackets, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, suits, shoes, ties, scarves, and jewelry/accessories. All sizes are needed, from extra small to plus size, Petite, as well as Big and Tall.
