Remote-Location Proctor Approval

Students who are unable to come to campus to take their exams in a proctored setting have the option to test at a remote location. Please be aware that these external testing sites charge fees for their services. The financial responsibility for any expenses related to remote testing will lie with the student making the request. Below are the steps to follow for students.

  1. Locate a testing site willing to proctor your exam(s). Preferably from the NCTA list of certified centers.
  2. Fill out the Remote-Location Proctor Approval Form.
  3. The Academic Testing Center will process your approval form and follow up if there are any discrepancies.
  4. Once approved, the request is forwarded to your instructor(s). Exam details are coordinated directly between your instructor(s) and the remote site.

It is recommended to contact your remote site prior to testing to ensure they have your exam on file. Feel free to contact the Testing Center at 240-500-2398 or testingcenter@hagerstowncc.edu with any questions about the process.
