UPDATE - A graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020, at 6 p.m. in the North Hagerstown High School Stadium. (The rain date is October 3 at 6 p.m.) The ceremony will honor the accomplishments of spring and summer 2020 graduates. Fall 2020 graduates are eligible to walk in the May 2021 ceremony.
Students will be permitted to invite up to four guests. This will be a ticketed event. Tickets will be collected at the gate the evening of the event. Holding an abbreviated HCC graduation ceremony at the North Hagerstown High School Stadium allows us to do so in a safe, outdoor setting; we anticipate the ceremony to last about 45 minutes and each graduate will walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover and have an official college graduation picture taken.
Students who plan to participate in the October ceremony must do the following as soon as possible:
  • If you are attending:  RSVP by Friday, September 11 with your name, student ID number, current email address and number of guests attending to:
  • Order your cap and gown.  All orders must be placed online by Friday, September 11. You will have to pay for a cap/gown/tassel upon placing the order. (Cost:  $30.00)
  • We will contact you via email once your cap and gown arrives and is ready for pick up at the Campus Store. When picking up your cap and gown, you will need to show a Photo ID.
  • Tickets can be picked up at the front desk of the Student Center the week of September 21. Once we receive your RSVP, we will send out more details regarding the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating your accomplishment with you, your family and friends!
