College for Kids

When registering your child for camp, grade level is determined by the grade your child will enter in the fall of 2024.

College for Kids is a summer day camp at Hagerstown Community College where education and fun collide. Our camps offer kids and teens an opportunity to discover the magic of science, creative writing, engineering, computer programming, music theater, and more. The benefits of attending College for Kids are fantastic. Students can explore new subject areas, improve problem-solving skills, build confidence, and make new friends. The week-long camps are taught by qualified instructors from local schools and businesses and are open to elementary and middle school students entering grades 2 through 8. All camps are held at Hagerstown Community College’s campus in June, July, and August.

College for Kids has been providing quality educational opportunities for children and teens in Washington County and the surrounding area for over 30 years.

Course Cancellations
Each non-credit class requires a minimum number of enrollees to run. The decision to hold or cancel a class is made, in most cases, three business days prior to the start of the class. The college, however, reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to unexpected circumstances. In these events, students will be notified via phone and/or email.
