Discovery Academy debuted in the summer of 2023 and is growing every year! Discovery Academy offers a week-long summer camp that immerses high school students, grades 9 through 12, within a career field or interest of their choice. Unsure of what you want to do? That’s okay! Try a few. These summer camps, taught by qualified instructors from local schools and area businesses, provide real-life experience and help give insight into the career field. You will also be able to learn about college life on campus and explore the many options right here in your backyard. All camps are on the Hagerstown Community College’s campus in June, July, and August.

Course Cancellations
Each non-credit class requires a minimum number of enrollees to run. The decision to hold or cancel a class is made, in most cases, three business days prior to the start of the class. The college, however, reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to unexpected circumstances. Students will be notified via phone and/or email during these events.
