Medical Imaging Programs
HCC's medical imaging programs prepare students for entry-level work imaging work in health care facilities and specialty offices. The curriculum is divided into areas of study consisting of lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Students who choose to complete an associate's degree in radiography will be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification examination in radiography upon graduation.

Accreditation
The Radiologic Technology Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), a national peer review group. This organization establishes and assures maintenance of high standards of quality for all accredited radiography programs, including this one at Hagerstown Community College. The radiography pogram was awarded the maximum 8 year accreditation award in 2016 with anticipated re-accreditation in year 2024.
