The A.A.S. in Technical Studies is a restricted, career-oriented program that emphasizes applied technical skills. It is designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s employers and prepares students for in-demand careers in areas such as aircraft maintenance, aviation electronics, electrical engineering, electrical energy, alternative energy, advanced manufacturing, and select healthcare fields.

Admission to this program is limited to students who have completed, or are in the process of completing, an apprenticeship, internship, American Council on Education (ACE) endorsed training program, or another recognized employer provided training program. Prior training is evaluated by faculty, and approved credits are articulated and applied toward the program’s restricted elective requirement.
